About the training
The training will be led by IPA (Environmental Research Institute) researcher Regina Tomoko Shirasuna, who holds a master’s degree in Plant Biodiversity and the Environment from the São Paulo Institute of Botany.
During classes, students will come into contact with theoretical and practical content about botany , which includes everything from field observation to conservation work carried out in herbaria.
This action reaffirms the municipal administration’s commitment to employee training and represents a strategic step toward increasing institutional capacity.
With a focus on improving the provision of services to the population, strengthening the preservation of the Atlantic Forest and compliance with SDG 4 (Quality Education), SDG 13 (Climate Action) and SDG 15 (Life on Land), the training contributes to a more sustainable municipality aligned with global goals.
